Steel City Smiles

On behalf of my patients I have pledged to donate £25 for every implant that I place, to one of two amazing charities.

The idea behind the pledge was born out of a moment of reflection at the end of 2020. COVID-19 had meant strict lockdowns had taken its toll on many families and individuals. Looking back on my year and some of the success I’d had, in my career and personally, it really hit home how fortunate I was.

It was at this moment I realised I needed to give something back to a city that had given me so much, and to support those local charities and communities that needed my support the most. The concept of the steel city smiles pledge is to donate £50 for every “smile makeover” case that I complete, and £25 for every implant that I place to one of two amazing charities.

Both the Archer Project and S6 food bank do incredible work in supporting vulnerable individuals and struggling families in the local area, and I could think of two no more worthy causes to support.

At the end of treatment, patients are presented with a certificate, thanking them for their donation and letting them know how their money helped support someone less fortunate than themselves.
